Yesterday we caught the London Underground (the Tube) from Highgate to Embankment and walked across the River Thames and went on the London Eye, it took us around half an hour to do a full rotation. I took so many photos on the camera, my iPod and dad's phone. You could see all over London and it was great to get a birds eye view.
After lunch we went to see Cleopatra's Needle which was made in Egypt for the Pharaoh Thotmes III in 1460 BC, making it almost 3,500 years old. It is known as Cleopatra's Needle as it was brought to London from Alexandria, the royal city of Cleopatra.
Then we went toTrafalgar Square to see the lions and Nelson's column but it was all covered by an event so we could not see much. We we so tired that we went back home and rested and tried to stay awake until dinner. I slept for 11 hours straight.
It is raining today and we are trying to decide where to go. I will let you know what adventures we have today later on.
