Today we went to Chatsworth which they filmed Pride and Prejudice (Pemberly) which was Mr Darcy's home. Mum and Darcy were really excited about going there though they were doing lots of restorations on the house. I really like the rock garden which was huge and I was disappointed that the maze was closed because the gardeners were trimming the hedges.
It rained a little but but mainly when we were walking through the house. The house was gorgeous and they had really big rooms covered in paintings, and tapestries, tiles and ornaments. It was very flash.
The photo shows some of the rose garden with some part of the put buildings.
We then went back to our little cottage and packed ready to drive south.
