Today we left Chester and visited Beeston Castle Which is sits high up on top of a rocky crag with 360 degree views. Darcy and I had a good hunt for one of the 1066 arrows hidden there but with no luck. It was a steep walk up to the top and inside there is a well that when you flip a coin into it kind of talks back to you. The photo is of me on top of the castle.
Then we drove around wondering where to go next. We ended up in a little place called Dungworth Green near Sheffield in the Peak District. It was a great place - Padley Farm B&B. We went in search of dinner and the first pub was full so we went up to High Bradfield and ate there instead. There was a bike race on which made Dad happy. I had the hugest olive and feta salad for dinner. I would have been happy to stay there longer as the beds were super comfy and the shower was the best yet.
