Well, today we drove from the south of Wales nearly to the top. We are in a place called Blaenau Ffestiniog in the middle of Snowdonia Nation Park. It was a long drive not because of the distance but the slow pace.
It was worth it though as we got to go to Bounce Below which is soooo awesome. Polly told us about it and he was right, it is great. You are in an under ground slate mine and they have nets strung in the middle of a a huge cavern. There were four levels of nets and you took steps and net ramps to go up and slides to go down, just like snakes and ladders with the slides being the snakes. It was exhausting because even when you stopped jumping, someone else was jumping which made you move anyway. Apparently our legs will be sore tomorrow, but mum reckons hers are sore already.
It was so much fun and we know want to go on the zip line but it is pouring with rain and very cold and windy. I am hoping it will have stopped by the morning so we can go. We don't know where we are going tomorrow, or this week really, so I will have to tell you when I know.
Everywhere around us is slate and cliffs, it looks like it is falling down the steep hillsides. It is very grey here, but I guess the weather does not help that. Perhaps there is colour when the sun shines. We had a yummy dinner in a little place in town but we did not have dessert which made me sad
