We got up really late this morning, we were sorting bits and bobs out. Checking accommodation in Bukit Lawang and Bali.
We went out around midday and it was absolutely boiling! It felt hotter than the super hot days we have had the last two days. The thunderstorm didn't come to much last night so today will probably be a big one!
We went over to the KLCC park, it's around the side of the Petronas towers. It has a huge kids pool which we were tempted to get in as the kids should be in school! But lucky us it was closed for maintenance! :(
We sat under the tree fora while and inspected the Petronas towers. It's peaceful considering your in the middle of a city. Surprising how a few trees and a bit of grass can make you happy! Haha.
The storm came in full force at around 2.30pm so we headed back. There was no staying out in this storm today!
As soon as we got back the heavens opened and there was loads of fork lightning so everyone was running everywhere trying to take cover and get inside.
This evening we went back to the park and watched the light and music show of the water fountains that are outside the Petronas Towers, it was pretty good! No Bellagio though. It was a shame that it was raining heavily still at 9pm!
We had a nose around the shops, they have some cracking clothes here, mango was my favourite! Mango in Cardiff is a perthetic little shop so you never really get to see what they have to offer!
It's time to pack again tonight ready for Singapore in the morning. Malaysia is over already, time is flying! It's been nice to not have to move for a few days though, and we really like Kuala Lumpur! It's a big city but easy to get around and not overly busy. We never got on a bus or in a taxi though, we were never stuck in traffic which helped take the annoyance out of the city. The monorail and train is he way forward!
