We were able to have a lie in this morning and we were still up at 7am! We were eating breakfast before my alarm was due to go off!
We packed our things and had to be down at the pick up point for 10am.
Taman Negara has been nice, we could have stayed another day and done some more trekking but we opted out of it. We weren't going to see any animals anyways.
The minibus to kuala Templing took around an hour and half and then we stopped and was able to have a bite to eat before the bus to Kuala Lumpur at 12.30.
I had cream of chicken soup! Aw it was like Heinz.. A taste of home! Yummy!
The minibus to Kuala Lumpur was pretty good, there were only 5 of us on it so we were able to spread out a little. We weren't like sardines! We both fell asleep for a good hour or so, you wouldn't believe how tiring it is travelling!
We arrived in Chinatown about 3.30, we were staying in that area so we walked through the centre Chinese market and asked a few people for directions, the city was loud but wasn't too busy it didn't seem!
Our hotel wasn't too far away from the stop off so we found it eventually! Leo leisure hotel was nice, it's just been redecorated so all is good! If only the room was a little b*****! We had a little space by the door once we put our rucksacks down!
We got showered and found the nearest cinema and how to get there! The new avengers film is out today so we went to watch it because cinema dates are super cheap out here! The train station. Was just down the road and cost us 4MR for a return ticket for the both of us, that's about 75p!
The train stop at mid valley took us straight into the shopping mall, it was huge!! We think st. David's centre at home is big, you could fit about 5 of them in these malls!
When we eventually got to the cinema the tickets were selling out fast but we managed to get two tickets at the front, the tickets cost us £6. A little more than Penang but still cheap and we haven't spent anything today!
The film was really good, we grabbed a bite to eat and caught the train back. It had been raining heavy for over an hour by now because we could hear it on the roof. I don't think Kuala Lumpur are very prepared for rain considering they supposedly have a lot of it! The roofs were leaking, the roads were heavily flooded in parts! Not good.
When we got back to the hotel our satellite on the tele wasn't working and the wifi had cut out. Apparently because of the lightning! They are really not equipped to deal with this weather!
