A few days back at Gordonvale to get organised and have a drive around Atherton Tablelands. What beautiful country-side, scattered with green pastures and rainforests, dairy farms, irrigators, sugar canes and the rolling hills.

We spent most of the day at Herberton Historic Village originally a town for tin mining. Realy feeling like we were back in time this village had every shed you could think of set up with so many artifacts, information, machines and real life looking shops, homes and jobs.
Tim's favourite proberly the opeational Harley Davidson.
Lotte's favourite: the coach house. Coaches for the Royals, a funeral, sanitaion (to collect the long drop drums sill in use in Brisbane in the 1950's), milk and bread coach the list goes on.
Achie's favourite: the operational John Deer tractors (just for you Darc)
Fidge's favourite the school with the writting on the black board still in pennies, ponds and miles. Posters about good manners, BC, Humpty Dumpty etc
