Contract signing this morning so we all had to meet in the Board Room at 10:00 to be taken through the contract and make sure we understood them. We were also given a small piece of documentation about the School and area where we are placed. Our school is in a district calles Huairou which is about an hour North East of Beijing. It says on the information sheet that it is very mountainous and made up of 12 towns and 287 villages! The school has 1500 pupils and Hannah and myself will be the only foreign teachers. This afternoon and evening we had a graduation ceremony at a local hotel and then there was an after party at The Box nightclub. I didn't go to this, but went to Sky bar with a few others for a sensible couple of drinks in anticipation of the early start and long train journey we have tomorrow.
