Lessons this morning and then waiting around all afternoon as we were told we would be getting our placements. Finally heard they were on the notice board at 6:30 so rushed up to have a look. I have been placed in Beijing teaching Middle School (12 - 15 year olds). Despite asking for Primary School children in the South, I'm not at all bothered by the age group, although I was a little disappointed by the region as I'll now have to buy new clothes to deal with the cold!! However, on further reflection I'm quite happy with the posting as they'll be plenty to do in Beijing. I'm with one other person in my actual school and there's about 18 people in total in Beijing so no time to get bored.
