So today, I took a bus to the Botanical Gardens.

Was absolutely gorgeous, I have never seen flowers like it! The noises from all the birds and bugs was really tropical sounding, like in films! Walked around for ages, just completely amazed. Everything was so green! It was really quiet too, and not too many tourist, so it felt like I was taking a stroll through the jungle on my own! Was a definite highlight!

Although I some how managed to take the wrong track on my stroll around the second park and ended up walking half of the "blue arrow 5.2km hike"! In flipflops, sweating and panting, I was thinking hmmm this isnt quite the leisurely walk I had expected! So I turned round, I did wonder why all these geeking hikers were looking at me like I was mad!

My hike worked up quite an appetite, so another bbq a drink and a cheeky little smoke was in order with some people from my hostel.
