Started this beautiful Wyoming with a walk to the local bagel shop for bagels and coffee. A little chilly as I noticed Wyoming mornings are, but by afternoon, it is warm and sunny! Up and out for breakfast at a charming place in town, Heart and Soul Cafe with its cut western vibe and the delicious oatmeal pancakes! Then it was off for sweet me retail therapy at the Cowboy Shop. Up and unfortunately had to leave Casper this morning. Our next stop is in the town of Pinedale, but lots to see on the way! Left Casper and soon found ourselves back in the desolate countryside of Wyoming. We did pass through on town with a population of 10, and another town called Boulder with a population of 30! Took a more leisurely start to our day this morning in Casper. After breakfast we decide to visit The National Historic Trails Visitor Center. This marvelous museum is perched with a fantastic view of Casper and the mountains behind the town. Four major trails (Oregon, California, Mormon, and the Pony Expressway ) all went through Casper crossing the North Platt River. Up for a very early start to get to our sunrise safari at Custer State Park. Unfortunately had to leave this charming town without much exploration. Oh well… On our way to the park we saw several deer, and even a Buffalo along the side of the road. Amazing!
