Left the cute town of Pella this morning. Such a pretty town, with its Dutch heritage, lovely homes, and several parks. Would love to see it in the spring with all the tulips!
Continue east we must, getting in some showers, but they cleared up as we progressed east. Into Illinois, which is very rural and agricultural in this area. Through several small towns, Peoria, Champagne, and points east.
Crossed into Indiana, also rural and filled with cornfields! Decided to stay outside Indianapolis for the night. Met up with some traffic around Indianapolis, but got to the hotel in time to watch the Phillies. Fortunately there was a bar that served food, so off I went to gather supplies for the game. Had some good food and great drinks, and the win for Philadelphia!
