Got up to listen to a Wyndham owner update, then off to the grocery store for some supplies. Back to the unit, then off to the beach for some sun and surf. Following an afternoon of relaxing, decided to head over with drinks and listen to some karaoke at the resort. Made our way down to the Marriott to eat in their restaurant. Had a delicious daily catch outside on their beautiful space by their pool with the ocean and beach directly behind us...

Up and ready to continue our trek to Pompano Beach. After a few stops including lunch we finally arrived ! Got settled in the beach side of the resort for our 6 night stay. Made our way over to the pool and courtyard area of the resort to listen to a performance of steel drums and our first tropical drink. Made our way back to our room, got a little wine, and headed to the beach. Lovely evening sitting and enjoying the ocean with perfect weath...

We got lucky and woke to pretty nice weather this morning. Enjoyed relaxing on the terrace with our breakfast this morning. Have been doing a lot of sight seeing, so it was nice to just take our time and take it slow this morning. Besides, the view is pretty awesome! Just enjoying reading my book on this fantastic terrace, but Larry decided to go and play golf since it appeared the rain was holding off. Away he went, as I continued to enjoy my time. ...

Awoke to the news that a hurricane is expected to land here in New Orleans. Hope all is well with the city. Needed to make our way to our next stop, Panama City Beach. Expecting some bad weather there too, so hoping to get in a little beach time before the rain hits. Left the city driving past, over and through the bayou county of Louisiana. Made our way through Alabama and around Mobile before entering the Florida panhandle. Traveled, and got there...
