Well it's the last day on the road.... Woke up to some light showers in the mountains this morning. Got packed, and headed up for breakfast at the lodge. Began our morning in the beautiful, but foggy Shenandoah Mountains. Relaxed with coffee in our room before walking up to the lodge dining room for breakfast. Decided to take a hike on the Stony Man Trail . Lovely trail through the woods that leads to a lookout. Unfortunately the fog prevented us from seeing the view. Continued back down the trail, and decided to take another trail that lead to Little Stony Tail ( both are part of the Appalachian Trail ...

Left Edisto this morning for the very long trek to our next stop, Skyland Resort in Shenandoah National Park.
