Off for an early start to the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. On the way to this unique facility we passed beautiful desert scenery and through Gates Pass, with its breathtaking view of the valley and surrounding mountains. Arrived here after traveling most of the day from Philadelphia to Phoenix, and then drove Tucson.Through the arid desert with its brown soil and jagged mountains in the distance. Passed through acres of cactus fields filled with all types. Checked in to our spot for three nights. Our condo has a fantastic view of the mountains.Off for some supplies and a lovely dinner.
