Began our morning in the beautiful, but foggy Shenandoah Mountains. Relaxed with coffee in our room before walking up to the lodge dining room for breakfast.
Decided to take a hike on the Stony Man Trail . Lovely trail through the woods that leads to a lookout. Unfortunately the fog prevented us from seeing the view. Continued back down the trail, and decided to take another trail that lead to Little Stony Tail ( both are part of the Appalachian Trail ). This path also lead to a beautiful view, which we could see, as the fog had lifted. Spectacular!
Walked back to our room, relaxing, reading, and enjoying the great view form our balcony, while drinking a little champagne.
Time for dinner! Changed and made our way back up to the dining room, where we enjoyed a lovely dinner and some great blackberry cobbler and ice cream for dessert. Yummy!
Tonight's entertainment was supposed to be a guitar player, turned out to be karaoke. Decided to bag that, and returned to our room.
Tomorrow we make the drive home!
