For today we paid an extra 3 pounds each for the English breakfast (thank heavens, the continental breakfast consisted of cornflakes and toast), and then caught the Bakerloo line from Paddington to Picadilly Circus, then the Picadilly line to Hyde Park Corner where it was just a short walk to the Hard Rock Cafe. After purchasing our items we returned to our hotel, retrieved our stored luggage and trundled back up to Paddington station to catch the train to Waterloo and then the lovely train on to Southampton!!

One and a half hours later we trundled from Southampton station, across the road and booked in to our Novotel room. Our hire car was waiting for us at the Ibis hotel next door, and our dinner was at the TGIF restaurant at the bottom of the carpark. Our waiter lived in Geelong for some years, and in the lift we met a girl from Manly!!
