Today we checked out Edinburgh addresses where the Watt family lived before coming out to Australia and we also toured Edinburgh Castle before leaving Scotland and head south to the land of my Robinson ancestors - Morpeth, Ashington, Choppington and Stakeford. We visited the church where my grandparents were married.

We continued on down to Crayke where we stayed overnight at the 15th Century Castle, which has an even older castle ruin in its grounds. Dinner was splendid at the Durham Ox Inn in Crayke (really wonderful) and we slept in a four-poster bed!!
