This was our last full day in Buenos Aires. We attended a dinner at restaurant "The Argentine Experience". There were 16 people attending and we put on our aprons and chef hats and learned to make empanadas, alfajores (cookies filled with caramel,rolled in coconut and dipped in chocolate" and mate (argentine tea). We learned more about the traditions and had the best steak we've probably ever had. The evening had unlimited wine tasting which also seems to be an argentine tradition. We dined with guests from around the world and had a fabulous evening. This restaurant started in an apartment when one of their guests, a professional soccer player, bought this restaurant for the owner. Very fun evening!
Tomorrow we depart on our cruise for 2 weeks ending in Santiago Chili.
