Hellooo

Just another update to let you all know I am still alive and yes I'm still in Melbourne! Am leaving in 2 weeks to go to Sydney though and then to Brisbane to catch my flight to Singapore. I'll then be off to Malaysia and Thailand. Have decided to scrap the rest at the mo due to budget restraints! ie I spent all my money! Have luckily got tax to claim back here so should be able to eat in Asia!

Have not been up to much. Have got a job at the Parliament of Victoria as a food and beverage attendant ie waitressing/cafe work/functions. I now know how to make coffee using an espresso machine so if all else fails when I get back to the UK I can always get a job at Starbucks! Probably pay more than being a travel agent too! Although thats not hard!

Am hopefully going to be meeting up with Brendon when I get to Sydney and he's going to be showing me the best places to drink! For those who have no memory - Brendon was here in Melbourne for about 3 months and we shared a room for 2 of those 3 months.

Have just been working and hanging out here at the hostel with my mates. One of them is leaving today though which is sad! We had a toga party yesterday evening and then went to the casino (not in our togas). I ended up practically carrying one of my mates home as his legs weren't working! Me and Kat (who's Danish) put together are about the same weight as Al so it was a fun 30 min walk!

Am just downloading some new music off iTunes as I am sooooo bored of listening to the same tunes over and over again! Will be good to hear something new. Don't know what I would do without my iPod! I've got through 3 pairs of earphones tho as they're so used that I keep breaking them! Have gone back to the one that came with it but they're really not very good still they're very resiliant!

Have got to organise sending a load of stuff home before I leave Melbourne as i've accumulated so much s**t that it now has no hope of fitting in my backpack at all! Just need somewhere to send it to as sea freight takes up to 4 months! Nanna?!! Can you take my parcel please? In fact anyone - replies on a postcard...

Have finally finished doing housekeeping I got so over working 7 days a week I am supposed to be on holiday after all! Luckilly I managed to work it so that it's only 2 weeks rent I'm paying here before I leave for Sydney.

Will update my blog pics and all when I get there.
