Hello Just a quick one. Not too much to say. Am back in KL having spent the last few days in Melaka. It was a bit nicer than KL but still not great. Am covered in mosqito bites even though I layered myself in Jungle Formula bug spray! There's even one on my hand and one on my toe! Really irritating. I arrived in KL early yesterday morning after a brief 45 minute flight from Singapore. Pain in the arse though as I thought I had to check in 3 hours before my flight as it was an international one so I got up at 3am, got to the airport shortly before 4am and found the whole place closed apart from Starbucks and Burger King! Me again! Well its still bloody hot! No rain at all today and the humidity is very opressive. Tried to do less walking today by using the MRT. I got up at 9.30am, my room was still dark as there are no windows so I could have slept for ages! I then had to queue for the shower and loo which involved lots of hopping! I started off with walking to Little India but must have chosed the wrong way as I got a few funny looks and walked past a few homeless people...

Well I'm here in a surreal place called Singapore. It feels like Asia in that its bloody hot and humid and there are lots of Asian people here but it just doesn't look like Asia!! It's really strange as its almost like I'm in Australia still but in the Muslim area or something! In the area of Melbourne where I was living there were loads of Asians so thats normal for me.
