Sorry to tell you all this but it's really really hot here! At least 35 degrees! It's just boiling! Have just spent the last few days doing not a lot. Have been applying for jobs and stuff. Nothing has come up yet. Will need to go around to bars/restaurants with my CV and talk to people to see if they have any jobs going. But's it a bank holiday weekend this weekend and then the Grand Prix next weekend so it's really busy.Will be much quieter after. I have got my ticket to the Grand Prix. I've got a general admission ticket for Sunday. Not sure if I'll get to see anything as I don't have a grandstand ticket. I can only go on the spectators mounds and I'm sure they'll have big screens. Will be really loud here all the time from Thurs - Sun as we're only about 1 mile from the track! Am really looking forward to it. Hope it's not as hot as it is now. Also hope it doesn't rain!

Last night was the hostel's 2nd Birthday party and Lynn Scully from Neighbours came which was really wierd! She looks younger and slimmer than on tv. She's quite short too. There was also a band which had a guitar, drums and five digeridoos! Think it was called Three Men in a Tree or something! Was cool though.

Need to keep on trying for jobs and stuff. May be able to get some photos up soon as there's a place in the city that will burn on to DVD for $10 per disc. Should be able to get quite a few pics on each disc. Not sure what I'll do then with them but at least the photos will be backed up! May be will post them home.

Well not much to say as haven't really done much. Oh - I did go to the National Gallery of Victoria today and saw lots of Australian art work. Best of all it was beautifully air conditioned!
