Great Australian West North Expedition (GAWNE)
Day 92. We left Kalgoorlie early this morning for the drive south to Norseman where stopped for lunch in the park. Refuelled again and then we turned due east onto the Eyre Highway which will take us across the Nullarbor Plain tomorrow. We are staying tonight at Fraser Range Station about 90km out of Norseman. It is a working sheep station established in the 1860s, lots of old stone buildings, shearers quarters, camp kitchen and space for a few caravans. Don't have to unhitch the van so plenty of time this afternoon to relax and go for a walk around the station and up the hill for a scenic view. Dinner tonight at the camp kitchen of barbecued steak and veges and then a sit around the campfire. Drove 290km, fine sunny day 20 degrees.
