Today we hiked up into hills above Bath where the view of the city is amazing. The streets are very organised. We watched some canal boats traveling between locks which involved the opening and closing of lock gates to either keep the water in or release it to get the desired water level. We had a cream tea at a cafe that is built on the bridge over the River Avon. We explored local markets and lane ways. Bath Cathedral has beautiful stained glass windows, some of which were meticulously repaired after they were broken during WW2.
