Took Jody to the airport this morning. On the way, we had to make a pit stop at the Yellow Banks Grove shop so Jody could have her last orange ice cream cone. Yes, I realize that it was 9 am! Dave told the clerk that she had to have 1 last ice cream on her way to the airport. She said you've been here many times already and wouldn't let her pay. Just reminded me of her story when she was a kid about her best ever, super lucky day. She bought a lot of stuff here but luckily was not overweight. Her first flight was Tampa to Chicago on United, then Westjet from Chicago to Calgary and then Calgary to Abbotsford. Even though 2 out of 3 flights were Westjet, she still had to pay the baggage fee on United. What can you do? We spent the rest of the day at the beach. It was a beautiful, sunny day. I went to karate in the evening.
