Yay! The temperature was 77 degrees today so it was a beach day. We we to Indian Rocks Beach today. It was surprisingly busy. We decided that next time we need to go to a different beach where there might be some younger people. We went to karate tonight. Sensei Bob from Tampa was there with a few of his students so it was a bigger class. Sensei Han announced that we would be working on kata (forms) for my benefit because I will be testing in Okinawa and need to prepare. I definitely had a good sweat going. I find it stuffy, hot and humid in that room, but Dave assures me that it's just me. Sensei gave me some specific things to work on to improve my kata. Most of them in my least favorite kata-Saifa. Last week when we went to dinner with Sensei, he gave me a hoodie as a gift. Very nice! After class, several of us went to a craft beer brew house nearby for a drink. That definitely hit the spot!
