Left Calgary right on time this morning. We drove to Lethbridge and met Val and Harry, Vera and Mom for lunch at Chef Stella's. We were a little smarter today and had a lunch made for us before we left for the day. Our first stop on the itinerary was the Lower Basin to see the Fountain Artist Pots. Very unique! A strange mixture of whitish grey and peachy coloured clay/mud bubbling on the ground. A nice walk around there and then we headed to the Middle Basin. We saw a lot of interesting things today. Although we saw Old Faithful, it was from a long distance. There was about 11/2 hrs to wait for it to blow when we got there, so we decided to take a walk on the boardwalk. The colour in some of the pools is caused by the microorganism living in them.
