Day 181,1 January 2013, Knott, The Isle of Skye - Welcome to our view. This is the stunning sight that greeted us this morning. Having only seen Skye with her nightclothes on (ie. in the pitch black with driving snow and rain), it was a wonderful thing to see her fully dressed and bathed in sunshine. This is the view from our Studio's front window. It was supposed to be a day for not leaving the house, but sunshine is a rare commodity at this time of year, so we got out in the car and went for a scenic drive for an hour or so prior to visiting the supermarket for necessities - ticket in the Euromillions, bread and milk. Mind you, the poor wee beastie had a flat battery and we needed a tow to the top of the hill to get her going - hence the one hour drive to charge the battery! But after the last couple of days, 'twas the least of our worries. Had a wonderful drive past lochs, glens, burns and villages. Even saw a hairy highland coo! Right then. Off for a snooze before we become euro-millionaires - £30 million jackpot. Sweet dreams that will bring indeed.
