Today we moved caravan parks hoping to stay at a no frills one for half the cost of FreeSpirit as the next few days we would be out all day sightseeing. Unfortunately these were booked out so we didn't get one as cheap as planned. It was $10 cheaper and closer to the city with grassy shady site so it was better. While Matt spent the entire day replacing the new head, I took the kids to Kids Club where they made these snakes.

Today was reserved as Matt's fix the car day. He thought he would just need to replace the head gasket which was expensive enough, but after having the head checked professionally, the car needed a whole new head! So we are now over $2k poorer just from this :-(. Lucky Matt knows what he is doing and is saving money on labour by doing it all himself. We are also aware of another mechanical problem that needs fixing next so that's not the end of car repair costs.&...

We had a big day out today, mostly spent at Mindil Beach. We started there to see the judging of best boat which in the end we didn't see because we later discovered they run a very loose program and the times listed didn't mean much. Zach and Liam did have their first running race here though. Unfortunately in each of their races they fell over halfway and didn't get back up! Staying nearby we were there ready for the first crocodile cruise of the day. There are a few companies but we chose Spectacular Jumping Crocodiles and they were extremely good with every aspect. Friendly, efficient, presented good information, added humour, enticed the birds in for a feed and provided enough crocodile jumps to be value for money. We were first in line and we were going to go to the top level before the lady told us the crocs jump at the open win...
