Staying nearby we were there ready for the first crocodile cruise of the day. There are a few companies but we chose Spectacular Jumping Crocodiles and they were extremely good with every aspect. Friendly, efficient, presented good information, added humour, enticed the birds in for a feed and provided enough crocodile jumps to be value for money. We were first in line and we were going to go to the top level before the lady told us the crocs jump at the open window downstairs so that's where we went and had the best seats on the boat. They make the crocodiles jump twice on each side of the boat before they get the meat. They do this so that the energy the crocodiles gain from the meat is burned off in the effort it requires them to jump. This way they don't rely on the cruise as a source of food. One crocodile that jumped was missing both its front arms which it lost in a fight.



We decided to stay at Darwin Freespirit but we had to go into the overflow. It is quite a nice park with a nice main pool, jumping pillow and kids club activities. Darwin is quite expensive to stay at any caravan park and they were also all booked out when we arrived so we didn't have much choice.
