Neil's Round the World Trip!
I got up late again and so didn't bother having a shower. My conversation with my family was short as I gulped a roll, slurped my tea and then bolted off to school!
I had my lesson with Wilma who I think is probably my best teacher. We chatted for awhile and then moved on to the subjunctive tense. Which is like..I might do that or maybe I will return. We did tonnes of exmaples. I had a coffee on my break and listened to Joaquin try and persuade people to go on the weekend excursion to an Inca site not far from CBBA. I told him I'm leaving on Saturday night for the constitutional capital of Sucre. I had the rest of my lesson which went really well. I also found out I don't have Tuki on my last two days..woo hoo! She's possibly the worst teacher I've ever had if I ever see her again it will be too soon!
I returned to my house and had lunch with my family. The grand-daughters Belen and Leah were here. It's Leah's 7th birthday today so her dad brought into the house a huge cake with icing sugar and the red sticky jam you get in jam tarts. We sang happy birthday in Spanish to the same tune "Cumpleaños Feliz". Then relatives and neigbours came round with presents for her. I think I'll get her a present with my little gifts to the family on Saturday (my final day in CBBA). I had a shower and then drifted off for a 3 hour siesta; I needed it.
I had dinner with my family and then chilled out in the nearby internet cafe. I returned to my house and then revised the subjunctive and lots more verbos!
