Neil's Round the World Trip!
I had a very long lie-in for Bolivian standards until 9am. My legs were stiff and a bit sore. I had a warm shower and that woke me up a little. My lips were all flakey because of the sun, altitude and being dehydrated from the alcohol. I had breakfast with the family in the garden while the sausage dogs ran around biting each others tails. The shoe repair man came and repaired my leather shoe for only 50p! I tidied my room which unlike me was a bit of a tip as I get up at 7ish every morning and rush to get ready for school. I had lunch with the family and the mischevious grand-daughters Belen and Lea. We had the left over meat from the BBQ and it was disgusting! The meat was fatty, dry and rock'ard! While I chewed on a piece of steak for 15 minutes I had time to imagine a huge, juicy, succulent, tender Argentinian steak hmm....I'll be eating in only 2 weeks time. In the afternoon I sat outside in the sun for over the recommended 15 minutes exposure due to the high UV rays in this area. I read my Spanish book and did my homework. I also watched the little patitos intermittently as they waddled around after the mother duck. Later in the afternoon I had a roll and Camu Camu (great jam made from this jungle fruit) plus a cup of my fave cinnemon tea! I chatted to my parents well Marina as Jose had the tranny to his ear trying to listen to Aurora (Cochabamba team) against Potosi in the Bolivian Premier League. They lost 2-1 and sit second bottom in the league.
Later after chilling out in my room I had dinner with the family. We had some mystery meat stew, watched a bit of Bolivian telly and then off to bed by 11pm.
