Woke up to a beautiful morning and had an even better view of the beach as a small campervan had moved on. While having our first cup of coffee Nick spotted a pod of dolphins playing in the bay - always a good start to any day! After breakfast we got ready to walk the beach and head into town but got chatting to our neighbours instead and an hour later we were still talking and the kids were getting restless. We walked the beach and searched the rock pools then walked into town to the bakery and bought some fresh bread and the weekend papers. Instead of buying morning tea the kids got a pie each for lunch and we took it to the park to eat. Nick and I had soup at home and then we all went into Vincentia to find a launderette, as the washing machines in the caravan park are useless. We did a small grocery shop while there and then came home to spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing. The kids found shells on the beach and spent the afternoon wrapping them up for Mothers Day, I read a novel and Nick spent the afternoon cooking meals for the next few days. After dinner the possums appeared again so we fed them a banana, which they took out of our hands. Once the smaller ones were in bed we watched another episode of 'Once' and then spent the rest of the night reading to finish my book. I had 30 pages to go when the battery died on my ipad so had to read upside down in bed to reach the power source!!
