Reluctantly woke up as it was far too cold this morning and it was only the thought of hot coffee that got us out of bed. We spent the morning doing some schoolwork, staggering each child's start time so that they all got some one on one time. The boys started science and that meant a walk around the gardens in the sunshine - very nice. We had lunch and then set off to explore the inland area around us with Doris and Joerg coming along too. We took the Princes Highway through Cobargo, which was a very sweet looking town and drove up towards the Snowy Mountains through some beautiful countryside. We drove as far as Bemboka, which is well known for its pie shop, and then turned south and drove through Candelo before reaching Bega, famous for its cheese! We had a drive through the town and stopped off for coffee and cake before eventually heading home again. Back at the caravan park we lit a fire and sat and had some cheese and biscuits before beginning dinner. It became far too cold to sit around the fire for long as the wind was whipping up off the lake, so we retreated inside and went to bed to keep warm!
