Today has not been a good day :o( Got on a new bus at Picton and had to leave Caroline and Elin behind. The only person I knew was Nina and we didn't know each other that well. When we got on the bus it felt like everyone knew each other already and I felt quite lonely. Today has been my first case of being homesick :o(

Before we changed bus, we drove from Kaikoura to Picton and stopped at Yealands vineyard on the way to taste wine and see the grapes. It was fun and interesting.

Our new drive, Mud, is quite annoying but informative and has a habit of saying 'choooiiiice' all the time which we find gets irritating quickly! We had a very long journey to Abel Tasman national park and when we got there there was a but queue to check-in to the accommodation (The Barn) so whe we got to the end there was only tents and cabins left. For some reason, me and Nina decided to go for a tent?! We got in there and it was cold so we decided to try and get a cabin but it was taken by two guys already :o( Nina sweet talked them though and got them to swap with us. Result! A nice log cabin for two nights!
