This afternoon we went for a drive and saw a wind farm. Just seeing all the propellers in the distance as we were driving up was amazing. We got up close to one and it was HUGE and made a really creepy "whoosh whoosh" noise.

We drove through Manawatu Gorge and stopped to go for a walk. It was so beautiful but very tiring! All the bushes made me feel like I was in jurassic park. I could just imagine a little frilly head dinosaur jumping out and spitting at us! Got some nice pictures and saw a train.

On the way back we drove through Palmerston which is quite a big town and stopped for an ice-cream. I got a magnum that was chocolate ice cream covered in chocolate with bits of biscuit in *drools* - wish we had those in Guernsey!
