I've had a great day today :oD Got up, skyped Mum, Dad and Benji and finished off my cereal (nommmmm). I went on a bus tour website and found a great tour around both the North and South islands that lasts 28 days. I decided to have a think about it before booking and also had to look around for cheap flights as it starts in Christchurch.

Me and Tina went shopping in Palmerston where we had lunch and I bought some bathers (well, a tankini), a new dress and some post cards to send to people at home. We also went to the travel agents to see about flights down to Christchurch and found some pretty good deals.

Palmerston is a very nice town with lots of trees and flowers - I like that in NZ they seem to make each town a pretty one.

When we got home I decided to phone the tour company to clear up a few questions I had and I ended up booking it! So I leave Feilding on Wednesday morning, fly down to Christchurch and catch the first bus on Thursday 13th :oD

I'm very excited as it sounds so great! I end up in Auckland on 9th February, which leaves me a week to see the sights and visit family before I leave for LA.

Tina cooked us a lovely roast and I helped Liz take down her Christmas decorations - feels very strange to be doing that in the blazing sunshine!

Did you know that they call bathers 'togs' here?
