Last night me and James went to his Dad, Guy's, house for tea. It was nice because i'd never met him before and I also met his partner Sue. We had roast chicken and a nice chat :o) Lisa came later as she had netball trials and when we left I drove home as James had had one too many!
When we got in we watched Law Abiding Citizen and went to bed as they had work in the morning.
Today Lisa woke me up to say goodbye before she went off to work and I got up soon after as Tina was picking me up just after 10am as I am staying with her for the next couple of days as she is house-sitting up in Tutukaka.
We got to the house at about 10.30am and it is BEAUTIFUL. They have horses and their own private beach! After they left we went for a walk down to the bay and I nearly keeled over on the way back up as it was so hot today. It was unbearable. After that we went for a drive and walks along about 5 different beaches and stopped after for an ice cream :o) We had a yummy stir fry for tea, using veg that Tina picked from the veg garden at the house. Yum! We spent the evening watching TV and chilling out. Bliss!

This morning we went to visit Tina's friend Jean at her house. She is a lovely woman who has just lost her husband and in Maori tradition, she cut her hair and put it in the coffin with him, which I thought was a lovely idea. We had morning tea with her and then went to Noodle Canteen for lunch - yum! We chilled out this afternoon just watching TV and I had a bit of a tinkle on the piano and strum on the guitar.
James came around after work and we went for dinner at a place called Schnappa Rock down at the marina. We skyped Mum before we went out which was nice - Skype is awesome! Unfortunately Lisa couldn't come as she had netball so it was just the three of us but it was nice :o) James should be so fat with the amount he eats! We had a lovely evening and he came back to the house for a bit before leaving. Hopefully he will come over to Guernsey soon as it would be great for the rest of the family to catch up with him as he's such a lovely person.
When me and Tina were in bed, I could hear this freaky noise which sounded like someone bouncing a tennis ball outside :o/ it was so scary!! Tina went out to have a look but there was nothing there. She spent the next 15 minutes laughing at me! Honestly, it was terrifying. I managed to sleep eventually though :o)
In the morning, Tina is dropping me at the bus as I am going t stay with Kate and Ray in Auckland. Kate is San and Dave's daughter. Wish me luck!
