Woke up at 08.00am this morning which was a welcomed change to yesterday! Catching the local bus (7hrs) to the city of Udaipur. Again thought I'd be riding up on the roof but got a real comfy seat with AC where I managed to sleep around 4hrs! The rest of the journey was cool though because saw some real beautiful scenery(promise pics will follow). The only complaint about the journey was that there was a bloody drip right above my head, manage to rectify this with a 1 rupee coin so I guess the saying "not just a pretty face" would be suited here? Arrived In Udapur to a lower humdity which was all good and it got even better when we got to our hotel to find a rather large swimming pool with a bar so we all dropped our bags got changed and straight in the pool with Kingfishers waiting! Ambrai for tea which is opposite the lakeside palace in an extremely beautiful surrounding. Tea was gorgeous- had chicken Dopiaza with my usual pilau rice and garlic cheese and onion naan. After a small walk around the city we headed back for a few drinks well many drinks in the hotel. I even manage to lock my key in the room at around 04.00am so had to wake the reception guys up who weren't best impressed! Anyway speakk soon and hope everyone is doing well! I'm such an amazing time everyday just keeps getting better and the people i'm meeting on the way are so cool! Mike
