After all the rain today is fine so we head off to follow parts of the 'Route de Cidre' or cider route. Some of the route follows the white [unclassified] roads on the map, and although we've taken Mary*Lou along a good number of 'white roads' in the past prudence tells us that on a Sunday after a public holiday we would be wiser sticking to roads more suited to a 2.4m wide vehicle. The forecast predicted a shower at 09:00. What it didn't say was the shower would be preceded by a deluge and followed by torrential rain for most of the day. Absolutely no point going on a sightseeing tour and as we've visited Honfleur a few times we don't feel too disappointed to not be able to go into town either. We get some free wifi and upload some photos to the blog and generally have a lazy day 'indoors'.

After a little lie in and a leisurely morning we walk the half mile up to the ferry, which takes upto 10 cars, but no motorhomes which are prone to grounding due to the steepness of the landing ramps. We hear the owner arrive and open his shop as we are getting up. Ali buys some pate then we set off to follow part of the Seine. But first we need shopping so stop in Intermarche in Isneauville.
