The forecast predicted a shower at 09:00. What it didn't say was the shower would be preceded by a deluge and followed by torrential rain for most of the day. Absolutely no point going on a sightseeing tour and as we've visited Honfleur a few times we don't feel too disappointed to not be able to go into town either. We get some free wifi and upload some photos to the blog and generally have a lazy day 'indoors'.

Another bright sunny morning. We lie in bed watching the starlings flitting about on the roof and gutter of the house beside us. More ships pass by as we have breakfast then Ali goes to see our host, Isabel, to buy some more cidre and some jam. We need a service point today but the first one at La Malleraye sur Seine is obstructed by the weekly market and the second at St Nicolas de Bliquetuit is out of order.
