I went for a lovely walk around lake...got very lost and 1 hour walk turned into two! Well firstly we finished exploring Oamaru...went to harbour to see penguins...but too early so went up to lookout....Oamaru is very very hilly and pretty...hard to bicycle here! But a lovely little place to live! Then we took the road to Wanaka...inland through mountains, and lots of sheep and cattle farms...we did the Lindis pass thru the mountains which was very scenic... Well we left Christchurch after my morning walk around the suburbs....still very sad!
