Well woke up this morning and it was raining...actually pouring. Today is our drive up the west coast with some of the most spectacular coastal scenery! However we are happy as we had excellent weather for our Milford Sound and our glacier and mt cook flights! Scenery was pretty despite the rain....up and down mountains, windy hair pin bends again, lots of one way bridges, valleys with lots of cattle....as it rains here a lot there is lots of lush land! We stopped at pancake rocks for lunch and a walk...beautiful views despite the rain! Got to Westport and found a motel with free wifi, a restaurant and bar attached....good for rainy nights! Off to Nelson tomorrow for better weather!
