Well firstly we finished exploring Oamaru...went to harbour to see penguins...but too early so went up to lookout....Oamaru is very very hilly and pretty...hard to bicycle here! But a lovely little place to live! Then we took the road to Wanaka...inland through mountains, and lots of sheep and cattle farms...we did the Lindis pass thru the mountains which was very scenic... Arrived at our timeshare around 4 pm...checked in, went to town for groceries, had happy hour at our hotel and then dinner at home! Can't believe how beautiful Wanaka is....a lake setting with mountain backdrop...snow on mountains....and shops all on lakeside....awesome!!! Double awesome as was a hot day and so many people swimming in the lake!
