Melbourne bloody airport. Get there early and check in ASAP. Queues were horrendous through security and passport control. Managed to get my tax back from my opal necklace and declared my tax free purchases. The amount of Chinese/Asian people buying Uggs, high end cosmetics and vitamins was unbelievable. Unfortunately for them they got there to late and most were escorted out of the queue as their plane was being called and were getting arsey about not getting their money back. Flight was fine. People in front of us had to be told a few times to put seats up etc. I quite liked the meal on the plane and thought the salad was ok for a plane and got a nice dressing. Pudding was an ice cream. Passion fruit with meringue. Mmmm. Got to auckland ahead of time and got a shuttle taxi to Ibis. Dumped stuff after changing rooms as we'd booked a 3 bed and got a twin. The room was small and no where really to dump cases. Mum, Homer, Andy and I went for a wander. We went looking for campervan place. We prob walked a third before heading back. There was no where to walk other than verge so decided prob best to get taxi in the morning. We stopped at the local Countdown, which happens to be a Woolies, to get a sarnie for tea and some juice. On way back we saw the familiar Golden Arches and decided we'd have a coffee. Took a coffee back for dad and tea for Audrey.
I decided that I wasn't going to climb up into my bunk. It was 3 in a bed.
