Dad drove all day today. Drove from Dunedin to Timaru stopping on the way.
First through Dunedin. Saturday morning, 1st Saturday of December and the 'city' centre was dead. Looked like a nice city though. Stopped after an hour or so at Shag point to look at seals asleep on the rocks before heading off.
Next stop was 'Moeraki boulders'. Big marbles strewn across the beach. Stopped and walked amongst them before having an early lunch and a browse in the gift shop.
Onwards to Timaru. Got here about 3. Parents went for a wander I went for a shower. That's it for today. Christchurch tomorrow. Just over 2hrs drive.
