Did the wine tour today. First stop was Jacobs Creek for wine tasting. Only liked one out of the six we tried. Off then to a view point to view the Barossa Valley. Up and out for the 9:10 bus. Quick trip into Adelaide to the other major opal jewellers. Bought a black opal 18k white gold pendant. Nothing I've bought matches each other but that's ok. The ring was a doublet, which is a base layer of cheap opal and then the expensive opal on top. The pendant is a solid opal which is why it's expensive. Another cold start to the day. Decided to take the bus into Adelaide. Stopped to look in a shop called 'opal field gems'. They had a replica of a mine and a small 'museum'.
