After a very efficient pack up this morning, we were on our way to Carnarvon, and not long into the 234km trip we realised the car wasn't running very well at all, so stopped to check it out. Of course, the band had slipped again, so we limped to Manilya Roadhouse, called the driveshaft mob in Perth, and got their thoughts on the situation. Hopefully, someone in Carnarvon can fix the problem once and for all, so we limped along at about 60km an hour all the way to Carnarvon.

We arrived at the BIG4, but the owners were out for 10mins, so we took a drive around the town - quite a spread out area and pleasant enough. We got back to the park and checked in - Renee noticed the Hargreaves family from Ulladulla were here, so we parked our van next to them. Once they arrived home from their day trip, we finally got to meet Kyla and Tim, and also Joe & Trudy from Queenscliff. Dad took the car to Hoppy's Auto Pro to book it in for tomorrow, and he & Tim went to the local IGA for supplies. We had a really great afternoon with both families chatting, and had lots of nibblies, drinks etc The kids all played well together on their bikes, on the jumping castle, in the trees, and other various games, until we decided around 8pm that the kids needed to be fed!
