St. Patrick's Day.

A holiday I never really cared about or understood...until I came to Australia. I'm convinced that even the Aussie's don't really understand the significance of this day...but if they celebrate a day dedicated to drinking...they will!!

Seeing as how this magical holiday fell on a Tuesday night, I had to be careful. As the next two weekends are completely booked, I need to reserve a few days during the week to do my assignments. I promised myself that I would only go out for a bit...my theory was "start early/leave early", and thankfully this plan worked out. I'm also still recovering from my sudden throat infection....

So Alyssa and I headed up to Sir Johns (the campus pub) to meet up with everyone. Had dinner (chicken parm...mmmmm!) and then the infamous green beer! Pitchers were dirty cheap! "keep 'em flowinnnnn' haha.

Lots of random, yet equally important, conversations were had! All in all, it was a great night! which somehow ended in a viewing of "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen"---> yes, I'm referring to the Lindsay Lohan film.

Today consisted of a little skype time, laundry, the gym, grocery shop, and library session.

I also think I experienced another earth quake at Matheson. What is it with this place? It was only a little one, but still...everyone around me was equally surprised...I guess it's just one of those things that I'll have to get used too....

Alright, thats my mini-update for now...I'm on my way to make dinner (tacos!)
