Monday 31st August - Sailing

The boat had a Lifeboat drill and most attended and shortly afterwards the loudspeaker system sounded to tell us that the boat was about to get under way and so we went up to deck 5 to watch the pulling away from the jetty and then proceeding down passed the Grand Canal and out towards the Adriatic Sea.

We are heading for Koper in Slovenia which is 100.55 nautical miles away. We will be docking there at 7.00am tomorrow morning.

We headed off to have dinner. Casual dress is required. After dinner we went to a show in the Celebrity Theatre and saw Christopher Caress a hypnotist who had a very funny show.
It ended up very hot in the late afternoon. About 30deg.
